Best Tips to Increase Adsense Income

Adsense is real good time earning program and many publishers, bloggers and webmaster joins this program by Google to make a good handsome revenue. Many people builds websites and blogs with the myth that its just making the blog and forget it to get a handsome income but after paying a good amount to the site content and after a huge amount of marketing campaigns you finally get traffic but what the use if you don’t convert the visits into clicks.
Now only visitors with no clicks or many clicks and no revenue can make the blog owner mad and finally lead him to quit the program and now finally you would create campaigns to insult the program. There is no need to quit and create bad publicity for the program instead you can go ahead, challenge yourself to get going to improve your income. You can build your Adsense banners to comply with your blog and see yourself improving your income.
1. Banner on the top
Always remember that the first impressions is the best impressions, so its important that you have banner near the top of the page. Now if the visitors have to scroll and see the content, the Adsense banner would be right before their screen and atleast visitors will have a look. Now you have to set accordingly your site since it shouldn’t be just Made for Adsense site, its should have some professional look too, so on the homepage remove Adsense codes and when coming to single page make sure that you have Adsense code on the top, just right at where the post starts.
2. Adsense Matching with your Blog
Its very important that you take your own time to develop Adsense banner which would perfectly match your website and make the code look blending with your site design. Now if the users who visits your sites are more known to click on your advertisements if they don’t know it’s an ad. This is a small trick but it does work and for the first time you implement it wont look attractive but this will surely work for you. This also makes your site look professional without the intention that its just made for Adsense. Dark colors and fashionable colors can ruin the looks of your blog.
3. Utilize your Content
Now if your Adsense codes are placed on the spot where people are paying attention, implement ads there. This will make advertisements look like part of your original content and makes it much more natural for readers. Generally a long content or explanation on something makes readers to read and thus increases the chances of clicking the ads on your blog.
4. Keyword Focused Content
Google Adwords and Google Adsense both works parallel on the basis of keywords. If you are writing a keywords focused content then you not only get organic traffic buts its very simple and easy for the Google Adsense to display keyword related ads on your blog or else Google need to guess for the keyword and may place nearest possible matching keywords. Moreover the readers on your blog are for specific content and serving ads with other keywords will n’t server any purpose to them whereas Adsense Ads with specific keywords will have a hope that users will see it, may click on it.
5. Traffic is the King
There is no purpose in optimizing if you don’t have enough traffic. Optimization is important when you have traffic. The more traffic your blog has the more Adsense revenue you will generate. But this is one of the most question asked by many apart from the one which is discussed here. Building content and bring the traffic needs hard work to put a great content on your blog.
6. Make Use of Adsense Custom Channels
Its important for you to know which blog is performing at what pace. Google allows you to create up to 200 custom channels so that you can set it with each banner that you create on your blog and know which one is working at what pace. By this way you can short out which are non earning channels and optimize them through trial and error. Custom channels are right place to know whether how much is the performance if your Ad block.
7. Creating Different Types of Banner
If you have different types of blog section then there is a room for different types of ads placement. You can experiment with each one and see which converts to best results. Don’t be in myth that only text ads works fine for all blogs but its the combination of both text and images ads which works good.
8. Keep Experimenting
One of the good thing which I found is that keep on experimenting with Adsense, this will make you more understand with Adsense and will judge right stuff for your blog. Though you may lose time and a little less money but important is you will be on a right track. So keep experimenting until you have right revenue from your blog.

Get Google AdSense Account Approved easily and quickly

Google AdSense Account
Google AdSense Account

One of the many questions that you will notice in the comments on this blog is about Google AdSense, and the top question asked always, is -
How do I get my Google AdSense Account Application Approved?
Well, the answer is quite pretty simple – Emphasizing and offering quality content. This is the one single point which has no or any shortcuts or walk-throughs. You can tinker with any of the following points i mention, but the one in those bold characters above about quality content, is eternal. If your site does not offer any unique and/or quality content or value to its visitors or anyone in general, then be assured 100% that Google is not going to be interested to add you into the AdSense program at all and you will not be getting a Google AdSense Account anywhere in the near future if you do not respect this point.
Now, having cleared that, i would like to stress on some points which will most definitely have or give you an upper hand or let us say a favorable point when it comes to Google evaluating your application for any merit.
  1. Get a domain, for your site
Having a blog or site on your own domain is a very good idea not just in terms of getting your site and/or Google AdSense Account approved for the AdSense program, but also later in being able to branding the hell out of your site. If you are thinking of getting a free site up and running now, and then getting a domain and branding later, you will be making a huge mistake in losing and wasting resources more valuable than money.
Of course, the idea of trying out first on a free domain or blogger service is great, but if you are looking to make some money, it is imperative that you get a domain. Getting a domain shows to Google that you are interested in branding your site with it, which will show them that you are going to get some quality content and traffic in that they should grasp immediately.
Also, domains cost just under $10 or say Rs.450 these days and that is an yearly cost too. Don’t tell me you are not wasting that much money in your life. In fact, most people waste twice that in a month, period. Invest in a domain, it is worth it.
  2. Write in a niche you are comfortable in
Do not pick and write about a topic that you have no idea about. You will end up wasting time and resources and not to mention money. Pick a niche in which you can post content that you are comfortable writing up. You might be a multi-talented person with multifarious interests, but that does not mean you can write in any of the topic, does it. And even if you can, picking the topic for the first blog which should be niche specific to have a bit of a following, is important.
  3. Setup a proper website/cmsI have not mentioned about getting a hosting service here and that is because that is not paramount. You can use any of the blogger services that allow you to use your own domain – blogger.com and/or wordpress.com are the two that i recommend. You can point your domain to the blog that you have there and get along with a pretty secure blog instead of having to maintain and pay for hosting.
Also, in this stage, you have to pick between wordpress and blogger and that is quite a task in itself. The two offer quite similar features and/or functionalities and the choice is pretty much based on personal preferences.
If you are going for a self hosted system, i recommend wordpress, as always. Millions of users can’t be wrong.
  4. Start posting content systematically
I have talked too much already about how to setup a blog system and deviated from the original point of getting Google AdSense Account approval easily.
So, here comes the main stuff. Post systematically, at a defined pace with constant time in between. Do not pick a schedule that you cannot meet. There is no need to have a grueling schedule of posts, a modest number of 1 post per week is also good, as long as you commit to a great content quality on all your posts.
Also, most importantly, follow basic on-page seo guidelines when you make up the content of the post. Let the search engine know what sort of content and for whom you are preparing it through such an action. DO not copy-paste content from other sites. DO NOT assume that your site’s visitors are fools. They are not. In fact, they are more intelligent and informed than you are, exactly like the case of this blog. You guys know more than what i do, and you are just checking out what i write up in this niche, keeping tabs on me, like friends. And, thank you for that. :) So, yes, appreciate that your site’s readers are more informed than you are. Ensure the content is unique and have a great quality.
  5. And now the waiting comes – SPECIAL TIPS here.
  • DO NOT submit your site to Google for Google AdSense Account approval until you have a good number of quality posts.
  • Having a domain which has been around for 6 months or more at the minimum is a good idea to suggest to Google that your site is a great one and has been around for quite some time.
  • Provide original and accurate information about yourselves while applying for the Google AdSense Account.
  • It might be a good idea to use a Google Account which you have been using for quite some time, because Google appreciates long time loyal users whom they know much about already.
  • Read and familiarise yourselves with the Google AdSense Program Policies, and try and meet all of them.
  • Make sure that your site has got atleast some 6 months of quality post. Even if you post once a week only and have 24 posts, that is okay, as long as the content was great and not some copy paste stuff. Say your site has just 5 posts over a 5 month period, but it is unique and no where published ever before, then that too is quintessentially great, much better than 100 posts at times. Content is King. No, Content is everything. Information is power.
  • Once you have done almost all of the above things and most importantly followed the above Special Tips, then there is no stopping from you getting a Google AdSense Account approved, period.

Google AdSense Invalid Clicks – Analyze & Report Violations

Google AdSense by all means is the #1 online income generator for many bloggers and professionals. There are alternatives to AdSense but they are no way near to as a competitor. Being a top revenue generator it can make people to cheat AdSense too. You can cheat small ads network but cheating AdSense will never bring you anywhere. Publishers have been trying out their best to increase their revenue in black hat manner but Google has been smart enough to detect those clicks. We are talking of Invalid clicks in regard with AdSense, but what is an invalid click?

What is an AdSense Invalid Clicks?

An invalid click is an activity involving clicks or impressions that may damage the advertiser’s cost. An easy way to know fraud or invalid clicks in your report is to see the clicks and earning, when there are more clicks and very less earning per click ($0.01 or $0.02 or nil) then those are considered to be fraud clicks.
Google has been kind enough to the publishers and it doesn’t charge anything for invalid clicks, the same in reflected in the publisher’s accounts deduction during the month end earning. Invalid clicks includes publishers clicking on his own ads, publisher encouraging other users to click on his ads, automated click tools, traffic generation or other deceptive software’s. Google says that any method which automatically generates clicks and Google AdSense Program Policies which is updated from time to time without any notice prohibit impressions.

Google Clicks Monitoring

Google Algorithm monitors clicks and impressions very carefully. Google has the best fraud click detection algorithm and it keep track on all the records of an users including features like IP address, Cookies, Google Services, Click Patterns. So if AdSense is monitoring clicks, impressions, and other activities in relation to your accounts, it’s better to keep a day-by-day basis trace on your ads carefully. Doing so would help you understand the invalid clicks generated and same thing you can report it to AdSense to avoid account ban. One good software which is provided in the control panel of your web hosting account which tracks the visitor’s details is AwStats. Google has also launched Google Analytics which helps users to monitor site activity. Google Analytics & Google Webmaster Central is considered to be 100% accurate in recording the site activities. Its collects IP addresses, visitors activity, daily visitors, unique visitors, bounce rate, user’s country, browser used, device used for connection and lot more which are not provided in AwStats.
Google AdSense doesn’t allow any third-party monitoring tools for click tracking which might be an obstacle for Google ad delivery or click logging. So it’s left to the publishers to manually compile the stats.
So Analytics stats help you to analyze your website statistics and the following are the things you should watch out for –
  • Visitors with multiple clicks on ads – Let say you have visitors from Virgin Islands. One or two click on your ads is ok if he is a natural visitor. 5-8 clicks or more is probably not OK and its caution of worries. But when you have 10+ ads clicks by one person then you should be panic and you should take measures to avoid such clicks. You have to do two things when you face such problems – one thing is to block that IP addresses from visiting your site so that he doesn’t repeat that and the next thing is to report it to the AdSense through invalid or suspicious activity form. Please note that Google AdSense only respond if then find any significant issue with your account when you submit the form.
  • Many visitors from Single IP – This is certainly a thing to worry if you receive a lot of visitors from a single IP address. Report it to the AdSense authorities using the above invalid or suspicious activity form.
  • Many Visits from Same Referrer – Google AdSense or Analytics in monitoring considers organic visitors are those which comes through search engines like Yahoo, Google, Bing or any other. And visitors from other sites which use your reference by placing a link on their articles are generally termed as referred sites. These stats are also shown in Google Analytics and in AwStats too. Google doesn’t say that you shouldn’t have visitors from other sites but it’s left over to you whether to allow visitors from that referrer! Now if someone has posted your link on his blog or group or forums, depending upon the purpose, it’s ok to keep it. But if someone posting link to a link farm or link exchange is not a good thing. In Such cases you need to contact the site admin and get it removed.
  • Visitors & Clicks from your own IP address – If visitors and clicks come from your own IP address then it’s certainly not ok with AdSense. Even though you are aware that you shouldn’t click on your own ads and you are sure that you are not doing it, it maybe someone in your household or it maybe someone in your neighbor using the same internet provider which uses unique IP address. For any reason you need to visit it out.
So for any suspicious activities you can contact through Invalid click form. Although you are not allowed to click on your own ads but certain times it happen you maybe click on it accidentally. So in these cases it’s not required to contact them every time, further more on clicking your own ads can be studied at Clicked own Adsense Ads by Accident- Prevent Account Ban. Remember that it’s not good to get in touch with AdSense Team many times.
AdSense Account Disabled for invalid clicks may be of the following above reasons. For publishers who have no idea on invalid clicks the email AdSense team sends them would be awakening. Yeah, Google has mentioned and has the page to request a re-instate of your account but the chances are almost nil.
Minor policy violations like no privacy policy or wrong placement might receive a warning notice, which has to be taken seriously and this would be the final warning before your AdSense Account is disabled if the mistake is seen reported next time.

Invalid Clicks Prevention Tips

You can’t stop spammers but certainly your decrease the spamming with preventive steps, the same goes with invalid clicks. Mentioned here are the few tips which can help your prevent invalid activity on your ads & make your understand how to track invalid clicks manually –
  • Create reports using channels – It’s useful to divide your reporting into parts using URL or Custom Channels. This will help you in tracking individual sites or ad units and thus clearly says where you have received the fraud clicks. A sudden rise in the stats can be alarm for fraud clicks.
  • Be aware of your incoming visitors – Thanks to Google for inventing Analytics which can give you detailed information about your site visitors and thus you can lookout for any fraudulent activity or behavior.
  • Partnering with untrusted/low quality parties – Many publishers has issues with invalid clicks when then put low quality ad networks, search engines or paid listing on web-directories in order to increase the traffic.
  • Check back your implementation – All publishers must ensure that their ads implementation has no programming errors and it abides AdSense policies.
  • Use allowed site feature to prevent unauthorized use of ad code – Allowed sites under AdSense features will prevent any other persons using your ads codes on their blog. Many people who try to take revenge on you would be looking for such mistakes by you.
  • Approach AdSense Help Forum – Google AdSense doesn’t have email, chat, or phone support but they only have AdSense Help Forum where advertisers and publishers discuss. If you have a question, it’s more likely that another publisher has already raised the same issue. The forum does have many premium publishers who are ready to help people and your query would be resolved.
